Can Olive Oil Stimulate Hair Growth?

Olive oil is a staple in most kitchens as it is an edible oil extracted from olives, a fruit that is grown worldwide. The oil has many uses, from cooking to medicinal use. There are a lot of myths about the properties of olive oil.

Another study found that people who used extra virgin olive oil as a conditioner had an increase in hair density and thickness after eight weeks of treatment. Furthermore, it was found that women who applied it to their scalp every day for six months had an increase in hair growth of about 10%.

So we can understand that the olive oil is blessed with antibacterial properties, which plays a huge role in a healthy scalp by increasing blood circulation to the follicles alongside the scalp which is vital for hair growth.
